Our purpose
We exist to open up places to everyone. This page sets out our purpose, how it runs through the business and how we measure it.
Our purpose
We exist to open up places to everyone. Our virtual tours let people see, understand and choose places they cannot easily visit in person, replace journeys that do not need to happen, and help the schools, colleges and community organisations we work with reach the people they serve.
Why it matters to our business
Our clients commission tours because their own audiences cannot always visit: prospective students who live far away, families who cannot afford repeated trips, and disabled people who need to know what a site is like before they travel. The more useful a tour is to those people, the more valuable it is to our clients. Our purpose and our commercial success point the same way.
How it shapes what we do
- Access. We build every tour to work on a phone, tablet or computer without special software. Where a client gives us access information, such as step-free routes, lifts and accessible toilets, we show it in the tour. From 1 January 2027 we ask every client for it.
- Fewer journeys. We plan shoots to keep our own travel down by combining nearby jobs and using public transport where kit allows, and we help clients use tours in place of visits where a visit is not needed. Our targets are in our climate action plan.
- Local organisations. We give two days of pro bono work each year to schools, charities and community venues in the Bristol area, and a 20% discount to registered charities.
How we measure it
Each year our director reviews:
- the number of tours delivered for education, heritage, charity and community clients
- the share of tours that include access information
- the value of discounted or pro bono work given to local organisations
- business miles per shoot, as tracked in the climate action plan.
Our commitments
Our purpose is backed by a set of public commitments:
- Our commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion
- Our commitment to human rights
- Our climate action plan
- How to raise a concern
- Our environmental, modern slavery and equality and diversity policies.
Lobbying and political activity
View 3sixty Limited, trading as 360 Virtual Tours, does not engage in lobbying. We do not seek to influence legislation, regulation or government decisions, directly or through intermediaries, and we do not make financial or in-kind political contributions. If this changes, we will first adopt and publish a responsible lobbying policy approved by our director. Concerns about our conduct can be raised through our grievance procedure.
This purpose was approved, and the lobbying declaration made, by Matthew Evans, director of View 3sixty Limited, on 4 October 2026.
