Climate action plan, 2026 to 2029
How View 3sixty Limited, trading as 360 Virtual Tours, will cut the emissions from its own work, with targets we can count and report on every year.
Our commitment
We support the global ambition to limit warming to 1.5°C, and we commit to cutting the emissions from our own work in line with it. Our starting point is 2025/26, the year to 30 September 2026.
Where our emissions come from
We are a small service business with no premises beyond a home office. Our main sources are travel to shoots, electricity for editing and charging, the manufacture of the equipment we buy, and the data centres that host our tours.
Our targets
| # | Target | Measure | Deadline |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Record business mileage for every shoot and our home office electricity use, and publish the totals for the 2025/26 starting year | Totals published on this page | 31 January 2027 |
| 2 | Cut business miles per shoot by 10% against 2025/26, by combining nearby jobs and using rail where kit allows | Miles per shoot, from the mileage log | 30 September 2028 |
| 3 | Assess an electric or hybrid vehicle before the next vehicle change, and record the decision and reasons | Written assessment on file | Before the next vehicle change |
| 4 | Run the home office and all charging on a renewable electricity tariff | Tariff in place | 31 March 2027 |
| 5 | Keep equipment in use for longer: buy refurbished where a suitable option exists, repair before replacing, and send 100% of retired electronics for reuse or certified recycling | Share of retired items reused or recycled | From 1 January 2027, reviewed yearly |
| 6 | Review the published climate information of our three most material suppliers each year, and prefer lower-carbon options at each renewal | Findings recorded in our procurement review | 31 March 2027, then yearly |
| 7 | Help clients cut travel: give every new client guidance on using their tour in place of visits that do not need to happen | Share of new clients given the guidance | From 1 January 2027 |
| 8 | Publish our progress against these targets every year | Annual update on this page | Each January |
Resources
- People. Matthew Evans, director, owns the plan and gives it four hours each quarter. Both employees log mileage for every shoot and are involved in route planning.
- Technical. Our mileage log, energy bills, and a recognised small-business carbon calculator.
- Material. A budget of £250 a year for the renewable tariff, rail travel where it costs more than driving, and repair or refurbished equipment.
Working with our stakeholders
- Employees: travel planning and equipment care are agreed with them, and progress is shared at monthly one-to-ones.
- Clients: we plan shoot dates to combine journeys and give guidance on using tours to reduce travel.
- Suppliers: we ask for climate information and take it into account at renewal.
- Community and the public: this plan and our yearly progress are published here, and anyone can challenge them through our grievance procedure.
Governance
Progress is reviewed at our annual governance review. The plan will be updated within 36 months of approval, and no later than 31 October 2029. Our wider environmental practices are set out in our environmental policy.
This plan was approved by the director of View 3sixty Limited on 4 October 2026.
