What an interactive map does
Large campuses are hard to understand from a list of rooms. An interactive map gives visitors the layout first: boarding houses, sports fields, science blocks and halls in one picture, each opening to a 360 scene, a gallery, a video or a description. Prospective students see where things are and how the site fits together, then dive into the areas they care about.
Illustrated, CGI or aerial
We can work from your existing illustrated map, commission one, or use an aerial photograph or 360 captured by our drone team. Hotspots and content are managed on 360 Studio, so the map stays current as buildings change.
Cost
Interactive maps start from £750 and are often combined with a school virtual tour, using the map as the starting screen. No travel charges apply in mainland UK.

Both start with the same photography, but they are different styles of tour, built and navigated differently, and they suit different projects.

A different style of tour, hosted on 360 Studio, our platform with a content management system. Your team edits scenes, hotspots and branding, duplicates the tour for new audiences and reads the analytics. Best for larger projects and anything that needs updating regularly.

We agree the scene list, navigation and hotspot content with you. Our preparation checklist gets each space camera-ready.

Shoot
A photographer captures each scene on full-frame DSLR kit, five to ten minutes per scene. Drone 360s and still photography can be added on the same visit.

Build and launch
Every scene is individually edited and built into your branded tour on 360 Studio for Education. You review a draft, we refine it, then it goes live with editing access and a short onboarding for your team. Allow one to four weeks depending on the size of the campus.

Education tours are usually larger projects built on 360 Studio so your team can keep them current, which is why they start from £750; the platform and hosting licence is from £150 a year. Aerial 360s, interactive maps and still photography are optional extras.

Do we need an existing illustration of the campus?
Not necessarily. We can work from your existing illustrated or CGI map, capture a new aerial image with our drone, or use a floor plan. Each has a different look and cost, and we will advise which suits your site.
Can the map link to our 360 virtual tour?
Yes. Interactive maps are often the front door to a full 360 tour, with each building or hotspot opening the relevant scenes, and both are managed together in 360 Studio.
How much does an interactive school map cost?
Less than a full virtual tour because fewer scenes are needed. Pricing depends on the source image, the number of hotspots and any 360 scenes or video you want to include.
