St John's College has a bespoke 360 tour covering its courts, chapel and gardens, and Sidney Sussex College chose a tour with our content management system so its staff could update scenes and hotspots without us. The University of Cambridge commissioned 360 photography for its own platform, an example of the white-label work we do for institutions with in-house digital teams.
The Perse School uses a campus tour for admissions, and the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute asked for a tour of its laboratories that supporters and prospective scientists could explore online. Further afield we have photographed the University of Essex and South Essex College.
How college tours are built
Cambridge colleges want tours that respect the buildings: no fisheye distortion, accurate colour in chapels and halls, and photography timed for the light in the courts. We shoot on a DSLR panoramic rig rather than a one-shot 360 camera for exactly that reason, and hand over a tour on 360 Studio with logins for the offices that will maintain it.

How long does a college tour take to produce?
A 20-scene tour is usually photographed in a morning and delivered within ten working days, with a review round before it goes live.
