University of Essex Virtual Campus Tour

The University of Essex is a progressive, forward thinking and (relatively) modern university that in 2018 was awarded ‘University of the Year’. We were proud to be asked to create a virtual tour of their Colchester campus, the largest of their locations and a site that covers over 200 acres of grounds, teaching facilities and student accommodation.

The campus tour had to be in the same style as their website and branding, bold, bright and eye catching. We developed a tour that allows the user to easily swap between campus and accommodation locations, contains pop-over information points and embedded Vimeo video and most importantly, worked seamlessly across all devices.

Just like the values the university holds, we went all-out with this tour and created a bold, risk taking and world shaking tour that sets itself apart from most education virtual tours!
