Scottish Open Virtual Tour

The Scottish Open, held at Gullane Golf Club, is part of the world renowned European Tour. With the worlds greatest golfers taking part, event organisers will welcome thousands of visitors over 4 days.

Event organisers had an idea of creating an interactive tool to aid the public in finding the perfect spot to watch the tournament. A virtual tour was decided upon, and as such we were contacted and asked what we could provide. An aerial 360 scene was the obvious choice, mixed with ground based scenes showing the 6 areas of viewing around key sections of the course. Upon viewing each ground based scene, a simple text pop-up would give information on getting to the location in question, perfect for planning your ideal viewing spot during the event.

We worked closely with the event designers in order to provide a completely bespoke tour that could be viewed on both mobiles and desktops seamlessly.
