University of Southampton Engineering Virtual Tours

University of Southampton commission new 360 virtual tours for their Department of Engineering and the Environment.

We’ve recently completed a selection of 360 virtual tours for the University of Southampton. We covered areas including the RJ Mitchell Wind Tunnel, Materials and Surface Engineering and the Heavy Structures lab. The department required a high quality set of tours to really show off the range of high-tech equipment the University offers to both students and companies.

The tours are all shot in keeping with the departments branding and all feature a range of information points to further sell the spaces on offer. The u-Vis tour above includes a scene from within one of the high tech scanners, a shot that required setting up a DSLR and 360 rig within a space the size of a shoe box, definitely one not to miss!
