Poole Maternity Ward 360 Virtual Tour

Stepping inside a hospital can be a daunting experience. No matter your reasons for visiting, having prior knowledge of the space, layout and what’s involved can be extremely helpful not just for patients, but for friends and relatives.

St Mary’s Maternity Hospital in Poole had seen some of our other health related projects and saw the benefit of being able to have a tour available to the public 24/7. The unit already has guided tours in person, but these can often be interrupted by the nature of the unit and have limited availability. The virtual tour we created is available at any time and can be a great introduction to birthing units in general. The tour has access to many areas not available on guided tours such as the operating theatres and antenatal wards.

The tour is built using NHS branding guidelines, complying with the corporate fonts, colours and design styles. Each area has information points built in that contain information about the room and describes important pieces of equipment.
