EvoDental Edinburgh Google Street View Tour

EvoDental is a specialist full-mouth dental implant provider with clinics across the UK. For their Edinburgh clinic at South Gyle, they wanted patients to be able to see the reception, waiting areas and treatment facilities before an appointment, because choosing implant treatment is a significant decision and many patients like to get a sense of the clinic first.

We captured the clinic as a Google Street View virtual tour, photographed with a DSLR rig rather than a one-shot 360 camera, and published it to the clinic's Google Business Profile. That puts the tour inside Google Maps and Google Search, where local patients are already looking, and it also gives EvoDental an embed they can place on their own website. The clinic page on evodental.com uses exactly that embed under a “Virtual tour” tab alongside the address and opening hours.

Why Street View for a clinic

A Google Street View tour is the right format when the goal is visibility and reassurance rather than a branded, hotspot-rich experience. The imagery lives on Google's own platform, appears in the Business Profile that shows in local search results, and can be embedded anywhere with a single line of code. There are no hosting fees and nothing for the clinic team to maintain.

Google's own research found that listings with photos and a virtual tour are twice as likely to generate interest, and a complete Business Profile makes customers 2.7 times more likely to consider a business reputable. For a clinic, that reassurance is the whole point.
