Christ’s Hospital has a unique approach to independent schooling; they offer more bursary places than other schools across the country meaning students from all corners of society are given the opportunity of a high quality, boarding school independent education. The school itself is set in hundreds of acres of wonderful Sussex countryside, with a history dating back to 1552 (the original Christ’s Hospital began life in London), many of Christ’s Hospital buildings and rooms are crammed with history.
We were approached by the school and tasked with shooting 33 virtual tour scenes ranging from outdoor spaces to the incredible dining hall, complete with an original Antonio Verrio painting featuring King Charles the Second (it is huge, a must see in the tour!). Other spaces captured included the chapel, ‘big school’ performance space, teaching classrooms and sports facilities. The tour is brought together with a simple to use interface, combining a classic navigation menu with ground based arrows. Christ’s Hospital branding was used throughout the tour.
