Bridgwater & Taunton College got in touch with us to work with them on creating virtual 360 campus tours for all 3 of their colleges. As part of a new drive for online open days, they understood the importance of giving students an in depth look at the areas they would be learning and socialising when their studies begin. They also required a way of promoting the colleges to new students, understanding that the majority of those looking for places to study will now go online as a first resort and make decisions based on what they see.
Each campus in the group, Bridgwater, Taunton and Cannington, offer a different selection of courses. From conventional humanities at Bridgwater, construction at Taunton or agriculture at Cannington, the range of studies is diverse. It was important that each area had representation but that the tour was still easy to use and navigate. We achieved this by using our signature aerial view with on screen icons representing each area to be viewed. We combined this with a navigation pop-up box for an easy ‘quick-jump’ option. Information points with built in links were added to each scene describing the courses on offer in that location.
Gill Coleman, Marketing Manger at Bridgwater & Taunton College, was delighted with the results and had this to say about working with us –
I have no reservations recommending 360 Virtual Tours. They provided a clear pricing structure, guided me through the whole process and responded to every request or question promptly. Filming our three different campuses was a pleasure and I was impressed by Matthew’s attention to detail. We’re all delighted with the results.
So pleased were the college, more scenes will be shot over the next few weeks to build on what has already been produced.
