Accessibility Checklist for Venues: Is Your Site Ready for Disabled Visitors?
A free accessibility checklist for venues: forty questions from the car park to the exit, grouped by the stage of the visit, drawn from the Equality Act code, BS 8300 and VisitEngland key features. Tick it off on screen or print it.

Forty questions, in the order a disabled visitor meets them. Tick what is true today. Anything unticked is either a change to make or a line in your access statement that says what the alternative is. The questions come from the physical-features list in the Equality Act code, BS 8300 and the key accessibility features VisitEngland asks tourism businesses to publish; the duty behind them is explained separately. Print this page or save it as a PDF to keep a dated copy.

Every ticked line is a place, a route or a note on a Signposted page, where the accessible wayfinding features carry them to the visitor's phone. For the document itself, see how to write an access statement.
