BBC One Show Large Model Show Aerial Video

The Large Model Association host a number of events around the country throughout the year, hosting some of the UK’s best and most skilled RC pilots. The event draws in crowds from all over the country and even abroad, as people turn up to view the amazing skills demonstrated throughout the day. We were tasked with capturing the day and most notably, capturing video of the worlds largest RC Vulcan Bomber for The One Show.

Safety was key, piloting a drone amongst the other RC aircraft has an increased risk of collision and carefully choreographing the flights before hand was essential. Spotters from the Large Model Association as well as spotters from our own team ensured we were never at risk of hitting other aircraft, and the results were amazing.
