Centre for Nanoscience & Quantum Information.
Our most detailed tour to date.
We were approached by the University of Bristol in March to produce a virtual tour of their Centre for Nanoscience & Quantum Information facility in the heart of the Bristol University campus.
The Bristol Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information (NSQI) provides state-of-the-art specialised laboratories whose vibration and acoustic noise levels are amongst the lowest achieved anywhere world-wide. It also has a unique purpose-designed environment in which a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research community drawn from science, engineering, and medicine can be fostered and thrive through stimulating interactions and the exchange of ideas.
They required a tour that would give students, professionals and the public a complete overview of the facilities without them having to visit the centre and disrupt the sensitive experiments and research that takes place there.
Interactive and informative
The virtual tour had to not only look good, but provide people with information about the facilities on offer and the type of research that takes place. We worked with the centre to produce over 60 informational hotspots that have been positioned in various tour scenes to give a completely interactive experience. We also produced an interactive floor plan and various other features to really finish off this top class tour.
You can click here to view the NSQI Bristol University virtual tour or visit the NSQI website here. Over the next week the tour will go live on their website and will also be featured as part of a centre celebration on the 27th April.
We’ve really enjoyed working with the University of Bristol on this project, we even learned a thing or two about Quantum Information! Amazing!
