Histon Baptist Church

This beautiful church in the small Cambridgeshire village of Histon is due for a refurb…

So we were called in to photograph the before state of the church just before work begins.

Here at 360 Virtual Tours we’ve noticed a big increase in the use of virtual tours for ‘before’ and ‘after’ views of a location.  The unique views that 360 virtual tours provide are perfect for giving people a true to life view of what has changed.

Histon Baptist Church was built in the late 19th century, with an extension on the south side coming some 10 years later.  Over the years the church has been modified and modernised, with the latest work taking place this summer.  The main hall is being redeveloped with underfloor heating, new seating and stripped back wood.  The aim of the virtual tour is to provide people with a great interactive means of viewing the before and after work, as well as providing the church with a great way of marketing itself.

We’ll be back in December this year to produce 5 more tour scenes showing the completed work, but in the mean time take a look at the tour (produced using HDR techniques) by either clicking on the image above, or by visiting the portfolio.

Our recent tours for Cancer Research UK & Addenbrooke’s Hospital

We recently undertook a project with Addenbrooke’s Hospital (University Hospital Cambridge) to produce 6 virtual tours with info points for use on a new Cancer Research UK informational website.

Unlike other projects that have the aim of encouraging people to visit a location, these tours will be used to educate cancer patients on what to expect when being treated.  Each area is marked with info points outlining equipment and features, so there will be no surprises when it comes to the real thing.

It has been a real pleasure working with the team at Addenbrooke’s, and it’s a great feeling to know that these tours will help patients familiarise themselves with treatment areas and machines prior to visiting in person.

We complete an interactive 360 Virtual Tour for Dirty Martini, Covent Garden.

We spend some time in Covent Garden, and complete 2 tours for CG Restaurants.

This month we spent some time working for CG Restaurants in a sunny Covent Garden.  CG Restaurants own and run Dirty Martini Bar & Tuttons Restaurant.  They required a high quality virtual tour to show their entertaining spaces and eating areas.

We were commissioned to produce the tours and also include several info points to help CG Restaurant staff promote the private seating areas in the Dirty Martini Bar.

Jemma Hammond from CG Restaurants had this to say –

‘We’re very happy with the end result.  The overall project was great.   When contacting them during the initial quote request, the photographer I spoke to was very helpful’

To view the tours for both the Dirty Martini Bar and Tuttons Restaurant, visit our portfolio or click on the images above.

Motherwell FC set to go interactive with tours produced by us!

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been chosen by Scottish premier League team Motherwell FC to produce a selection of 360 Virtual Tours of their ground and hospitality areas as an added feature on their website.

We’ll be visiting the ground and taking all the necessary photography, while back in the studio work will take place on the interactive elements of the tour such as graphics and info points.

This is our 2nd project in Scotland in just under a month, and really goes to show we truly are a UK wide, progressive virtual tour company!

Keep an eye out on our blog and portfolio page where we’ll be showcasing our Motherwell FC tours as soon as they’re done!

We’re launching our ‘Little Planet’ commissions, your world in miniature!

We love our ‘Little Planets’, and we know you’re going to love them too!

We’ve been creating our stereographic images on the side (don’t tell the boss!) for a while now, and feel it’s time to shout about it and offer it as a service!  These images are created from a full 360 degree panoramic image, and manipulated in our software to give this fantastic ‘little planet’ effect.

They are proving popular as art pieces, they look good and they show off your location in a unique way.  When displayed as a 10 ft long installation above your reception desk, it will really give the wow factor to those meeting you!

Want your own little planet art work for your business?  Contact us on 0845 301 0865 to discuss your commission.
