360 Virtual Tours Best of 2013
Take a look back at another fantastic year for 360 Virtual Tours.
2013 has been another great year for us. We’ve taken on more clients than ever before and welcomed back many previous clients who needed updates and new locations shot. We’ve continued to invest in new equipment for HD video and broadcast quality sound recording and 2014 see’s this trend continuing with the launch of our aerial 360 virtual tours service!
As always, we’d love to feature all our projects from 2013 but can, for obvious reasons, only include a small sample of those we’ve worked with. Needless to say we enjoy all the projects we work on no matter the size or complexity!
February: Football Foundation Interactive Stadium
When the Football Foundation approached us wanting some virtual tours for their new ‘Football Stadia Improvement Fund’ (FSIF) website, they wanted to create a unique way of highlighting the funding they can offer small clubs. We could have placed information text on the tour for each scene, but wanted to make the information much more interactive for the user.

March: Anchor Care Homes West Hall
When Anchor Care Homes were looking for a new 360 virtual tour supplier to produce a tour of their latest and greatest location, we were delighted to be approached. West Hall is truly stunning, combining unique and period features in the Manor House and modern living in the Residences.

March: Kennet Island Show Home Virtual Tours
We shot high quality, HTML5 and Flash tours of 2 of their high end apartments. We built floor plans and customised tour skins into the tours to fit in with the Kennet Island branding. Each tour was shot using HDR technology to produce a superb finish and give perfect exposures throughout the whole 360 degree view.

April: Gelert Interactive Tents
Gelert approached us after another tour supplier had done a rather less than satisfactory job, we were of course more than happy to take on the job confident of our abilities!
Gelert were keen to shoot a number of their best selling tents for production into high quality virtual tours. The tents were erected in their product showroom and this is where the tents were dressed and shot. The images were then edited to remove the showroom background and insert a field scene to add to the effect, a time consuming but worth while process!

May: HD Video for Weston College
We’re often asked what works best, virtual tours or video? We’re a little biased of course, but why not include both? These 2 examples were shot for inclusion as an introduction to some college virtual tours. We shot these 2 videos using our professional grade cameras and Rode sound equipment, the end result being some great HD video content!
June: Audley Retirement Virtual Tours
We shot at three Audley locations and produced high quality tours to their specifications. HTML5 compatibility was essential as well as two easy to use navigation options. Users can either switch scenes using the navigation menu or use the on screen hot links to go from one location to the next. The tour was designed using Audley colours and fonts and the quality of photography was, of course, exceptional.

August: Chelsea Academy Virtual Tour
Chelsea Academy approached us after noticing another of our high quality tours online, and were keen to get a virtual tour as a great marketing tool for their website. The brief was to create a high impact 360 virtual tour featuring selectable floors within the navigation, bright colours in line with their branding and information points for each scene to summarise the areas featured.

August: Heathrow Airport ‘PODS’ Interactive Tour
As a 360 virtual tours supplier for Heathrow Airport, we love the diversity of locations we get to visit around all 5 terminals. One of our recent shoots involved capturing the new PODS transportation system, the purpose of which was to outline the advertising and sponsorship opportunities available.
Take a look at one of the PODS in action below.
September: Student Housing Company UK Wide Virtual Tours
With independent student accommodation providers on the increase across the UK, the need to promote their locations and really grab peoples attention is vital. The Student Housing Company provide student accommodation across the UK and we were brought in to shoot 5 key locations with many more scheduled for shoots in 2014.

October: New Season Premier League Virtual Stadium Tours
For the last 3 years we’ve created 360 virtual tours of every Premier League ground across the country. A recent tour took us to Hull to create 360 imagery for the KC Stadium, home of the Hull Tigers. We shot a comprehensive tour that covers the stadium seating, the pitch, club store and home dressing room. You can pick your best stand for matchday and even see the goal keepers view from the goal line.

November: Welsh Ambulance Service Virtual Tours
As part of this project we shot inside a standard emergency response ambulance and also got to visit one of the regions Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART). It was important that the tours displayed any information in both English and Welsh, so we displayed information points throughout the tours highlighting important features bilingually.
